more about me
I am a portrait photographer and photojournalist who captures it all — the milestones, the memories, and the moments that matter most. My heart is in capturing connection — the little moments, the real emotion, and the honest in-between.
With a style that blends guided posing and candid storytelling, I create images that feel natural, timeless, and deeply personal. Serving Maryland, DC, and Southern Pennsylvania — available for destination sessions and weddings.

Thank you for being such an amazing photographer and perfectly capturing my last year of high school. I would not have wanted anyone else to do this for me. You are such a sweet person inside and out. I love them all! ”
Absolutely Amazing.

The details
As a mom, the oldest of five, and a former journalist, storytelling has always been at the heart of who I am. I know how quickly little ones grow and how fleeting these moments can be. Even in college, I felt the power of a single photograph — how it could capture a feeling that lasts. I’m passionate about preserving the real laughter, connections, and tiny details so your images evoke that same emotion every time you see them.

The details
Every session is shaped by the details you choose. Location, wardrobe, and time of day all influence the light, tones, and overall mood of your images. Soft sunset light creates warmth and glow, while harsh sun brings a stronger, more contrast-rich look. Sunrise offers a softer, cooler, and more delicate feel. Your clothing and surroundings tie it all together, ensuring your final gallery feels cohesive, natural, and true to your story.
I edit as close to natural as possible. By request I can edit black and white and more film like or even different tones like the image to the right. I want every client to have the end result they wanted.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I know life moves fast, and the everyday moments often pass in a blur. My goal is to help you pause, slow down, and capture the people, the laughter, and the little details that make your story uniquely yours. Your session is more than photos — it’s an experience. One built on trust, comfort, and connection.
Take a look around, explore my portfolio, and imagine the moments we could capture together. I love creating images that feel authentic, heartfelt, and full of life—and I can’t wait to help you preserve your story, one beautiful photo at a time.
I’ll guide you when needed, step back when it matters, and capture the natural, timeless moments that tell your story in the most honest way.

Every Thursday, a new post goes live and I can promise it will be just as random as I am. Some days I’ll share my most recent sessions. Other days it might be craft ideas, recipes, travels, or random thoughts that feel worth putting into words. And from time to time, I’ll share something deeply personal. I wanted to become a writer and photographer in college for one reason — to inspire, create, and evoke feeling. To remind people they’re not alone. To connect. To tell stories that matter. To offer comfort, understanding, or simply a moment of escape.
We all have stories. These are mine.
